All are welcome to the next SOARA General Meeting on Monday, October 19 at 7pm at the Norman P Murray center in Mission Viejo. This month’s speakers are Joe AE6XE and Don KE6BXT– the topic is about high speed Amateur Radio mesh technology.
“The Orange County Mesh Network, a high speed digital RF network, has grown substantially in the last year. Joe Ayers, AE6XE, and Don Hill, KE6BXT, will give an over view of the OC Mesh technology, the services it provides, and present the longer term plans as they work to integrate with other Southwest region groups to build an RF backbone, an off-grid ham internet, from the Mexico boarder to the Bay Area.”
