All are welcome to the next SOARA general meeting on Monday, July 20 at 7pm at the Norman P Murray Center in Mission Viejo.
The speaker for the July 20th meeting will be Chip Margelli, K7JA. In January, Chip and his wife Janet, KL7MF (of HRO) attended the Puerto Rico Section ARRL Convention, and were able to visit the renowned Arecibo Observatory, the world’s largest radio telescope. They were privileged to be allowed to trek up the catwalk to the feed platform, suspended 500 feet above the 1000-foot reflective dish below. Come to the July 20th meeting for a VIP tour of Arecibo!
