SOARA Holiday Party 2022

All,

The Holiday season will be upon us soon! I am happy to announce that the SOARA Holiday Party will be held this year on December 16th at the Norman Murray Center, 6pm.

With the rapidly rising cost of food and one of past favorite spots closing we have decided to return to holding a buffet diner at the Murray Center in the Palo Verde room (our normal meeting spot).

Diner will be a catered buffet with salad, main entree (vegetarian or meat) and desert. The club will provide water, soda and some sparkling cider. You are very welcome to “bring your own bottle” of wine or beer, no liquor is allowed.

Please RSVP by purchasing tickets via our website: https://www.soara.org/activities/holiday-party/

The cost is $30 per person.
The preferred payment method is online via the link above. If you need to pay by check you can mail a check made out to SOARA, with “Holiday Party” on the note line TO:

SOARA,
PO Box 2545

NO CASH accepted, checks MUST be received by Dec 12th so that we can get an accurate count.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!!

SOARA Fall Picnic – Sept 24th

I am very happy to announce that we will be holding the annual SOARA picnic this year on Saturday September 24th from 11am – 3pm at Laguna Niguel Regional Park, Shelter #3. Come join us for some fun and food!

The club will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, all the fixings, and bottled water. Side dishes, salads and deserts are pot-luck. Bring your favorite dish and enough to share with others!

It wouldn’t be an amateur radio picnic without some radio fun so feel free to bring your “park rig” or any other radios and get on the air.

Please RSVP to joe@perrigoue.com with the number in your party that will be attending. We are expecting a big crowd this year, please make an extra effort send an RSVP so we can get an accurate count. The picnic is open to all members and immediate family as well as prospective members.

Looking forward to seeing you all!
