[Elmers] 12v Lithium Ion Battery Pack

Thanks. I want to be able to run my WinLink go box that has 2x 50W VHF radios and a 100W HF so a max of 40 amps peak I think. That is what I have my Anderson distro block fused to anyways. All of the buck converters I’m finding on amazon are either rated for 24 v with a 19-30v input range or are 10-20 amp. Could I use 2x 20 amp converters or should I break down this battery pack and re-do it in a better configuration?

You could use a DC-DC converter, adjusted for your target voltage, and a large capacitor on the output to keep it smooth. How much current are you planning to draw?

Many Kenwoods will run happily up to 15.8-16V or so without complaining much, but will generate a little extra heat.

I bought a 100Ah battery pack from Ali Express and I mistakenly purchased the 14.8v version which has a nominal voltage of 10-16.8v. That means that I cannot use it for radio operation as it would be out of the 13.8 +/- 15% voltage range that all radios I have seem to operate within. It would be about 0.20V to 1.00V higher that what is within spec of the radios. My question is, is there anyone willing to help me modify the pack to have a max voltage of 15.88 volts.
