At a special Board meeting held on Monday, October 30, the SOARA Board appointed Greg De Hoogh, N6PM as club Secretary to fill out the term of Lambert Matias, KK6WOW. Lambert resigned because of a business opportunity that required he and Michelle to relocate to the East Coast. We will miss Lambert and the great contributions he has made to SOARA.
The Board welcomes Greg, who is a longtime ham and SOARA member, to the Board. We are confident he will be able to fulfill the Secretary duties with skill. Our thanks to Greg for stepping forward and throwing his hat into the ring, joining a field of three candidates.
